What are the limitations of these lasers?

Compared with larger clinical laser systems, they use lower output power, making them portable, affordable, and easy to use.
They are intended to complement—not replace—professional veterinary care.

Do I need protective eyewear?
Protective eyewear is generally not required during normal use.
However:
-
Never look directly into the laser beam.
-
Never intentionally shine the laser into the eyes of people or animals.
Our visible-light lasers operate below 700 nm, making the beam visible and easier to avoid than invisible infrared lasers.
Do I need to shave my pet?
Usually not.
Our patented treatment tips are designed to contact the skin through most types of fur, allowing effective treatment without shaving.
For pets with very dark or black coats, trimming or shaving the treatment area may improve light penetration.
Do I have to be a veterinarian to use these lasers?
No.
Our lasers are designed for both veterinary professionals and pet owners.
Many veterinarians recommend home laser therapy between office visits to help maintain a treatment plan.
Our How It Works section provides guidance for getting started safely.
